Legal implications arise from Wichita’s voter misinformation

WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — Incorrect information was sent to some Wichita voters, raising concerns about confusion, trust, and turnout ahead of the city-wide 1% sales tax vote.

Wichita Forward, the organization that originally brought the sales tax to the council, circulated a mailer that included an advance ballot application listing the wrong deadline and time to vote.
