Man found incompetent for trial in Kansas doctor’s killing due to Alzheimer’s

WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — A trial is delayed for the man accused of killing the medical supervisor at Larned State Hospital.

A judge ruled Thursday that 69-year-old Michael Reynolds is not competent to stand trial.

He will be transferred to the Kansas Department of Aging and Disability Services for 90 days of competency restoration treatment.
