The number of doughnut shops in Wichita has exploded over the past year, and the latest one opened Friday.
SK Donuts, which first opened in 2022 in Arkansas City, added its sixth Wichita-area store Friday morning. It’s in the former NAS Kitchen space at 1920 W. 21st St. The owners will celebrate with a ribbon cutting on Thursday morning.
The new shop has the same menu items as the other area locations: cake doughnuts, raised doughnuts, twists, bear claws, sausage rolls, croissant sandwiches, kolaches, biscuits and gravy, and boudin rolls as well as hot and iced coffee and cappuccino. It doesn’t have a drive-through but has parking spaces right in front.
The shop’s hours are 4:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays and 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sundays. The phone number is 316-352-7016…
