Kansas increased minimum wage proposal draws mixed reactions from WSU students

WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) – It’s been nearly 20 years since the state of Kansas last raised its minimum wage. This week, a proposal in the statehouse called for that to be increased to $16 per hour.

With younger generations more likely to earn starting wages, students at Wichita State University have a range of views on the minimum wage boost proposal.
