SEDGWICK, Kan. (KWCH) – A groundbreaking ceremony was held on Friday for a new fire and EMS station in the city of Sedgwick.
Officials say the current fire station was built sometime in the last 60s to early 70s, and it can barely fit some of the equipment the firefighters use.
They said that not only will the new station be bigger than the last station with about 10,000 square feet of room, it will also be equipped with new technology and include areas for crews to sleep…
