WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) – After reaching the middle 70s on Monday afternoon, today will be much cooler with high temperatures in the middle to upper 50s. However, that keeps us 10 to 15 degrees above our average high in the upper 40s.
The cooling trend will continue Wednesday with highs in the lower to middle 50s before we climb back into the 60s on Thursday. Both days will be dry with relatively light winds as well.
Odds are climbing that a healthy storm system will move across the state Friday night and Saturday. While the exact path and timing are uncertain, the better chance of rain will arrive after midnight Friday and linger through Saturday afternoon, especially along and south of I-70…
