Wichita announces Redbud Trail expansion with new bridge, wider pathway

WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) – The City of Wichita is expanding the popular Redbud Trail, but the improvements will require construction that closes part of the path.

The Redbud Trail is one of Wichita’s largest biking paths, extending more than 15 miles from east Wichita to Augusta. The expansion will close part of the path from Woodlawn and Farmview to K-96 near Greenwich.
