WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) – A project to replace a major downtown bridge will begin soon, the City of Wichita says.
Starting Feb. 16, the First Street bridge over the Arkansas River will close to all traffic for construction.
The city says traffic will detour to Douglas Avenue, utilizing McLean Boulevard and Waco Street. Other detours include the Seneca and Waterman bridges.
