WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) – Stellantis, the parent company of Chrysler and Dodge, issued a “do not drive” warning for over 225,000 older vehicles with unrepaired Takata airbags.
The warning applies to certain Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep and Ram vehicles built between 2003 and 2016. Stellantis said the chemical propellant inside the airbags can degrade, increasing the risk of injury in a crash.
The company said it has repaired 6 million vehicles with this problem, with just the 225,000 remaining…
