WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) – An Oklahoma man charged with second-degree murder in the death of another man at a Love’s Travel Stop in north Wichita waived his right to a preliminary hearing and was bound over for trial, the Sedgwick County District Attorney’s Office confirmed.
Travis Briscoe, 47, is accused of running over another man, 57-year-old Abdelmuttalib Mohammed, of Georgia, with his semi-trailer last August at the travel stop near East 21st Street North and Interstate 135.
Investigators with the Wichita Police Department determined Mohammed had been in a verbal altercation with Briscoe. During the altercation, police said Briscoe began backing into a parking stall with his semi tractor-trailer, striking Mohammed…
