KWU Women’s Indoor Track and Field finishes third at KCAC Championships

WICHITA – Kansas Wesleyan Women’s Indoor Track and Field finished third at the KCAC Indoor Track and Field Championships on Friday and Saturday at the Heskett Center.

The finish is the highest finish for the Coyotes at the women’s indoor championship in program history. Wesleyan’s highlights at the meet included several All-KCAC performances coming in the middle and distance events, and KWU had three NAIA qualifiers and one KCAC Champion.

Assistant Track Coach Garrett Young received the KCAC Women’s Indoor Track Assistant Coach of the Year award as the middle and distance Coyotes contributed a majority of KWU’s scoring and helped the Coyotes to a third place finish…
