WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) – There was a time when Je’Niece McCullough didn’t want being “Bernie Mac’s daughter” as a major part of her identity.

Now, 18 years after the comedian’s death at age 50 from complications of sarcoidosis, McCullough considers her lineage a badge of honor.
