WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) – In an overnight update on wildfires in northwest Oklahoma and southwest Kansas, Kansas State Fire Marshal Mark Engholm relayed reports of firefighters being injured in both states.
In Clark County, Clay Kuhn with the county’s emergency management confirmed that there were three structure fires and that two firefighters who suffered burns and smoke inhalation were transported to a Wichita hospital.
