SEDGWICK COUNTY— A man convicted of killing two people in a parking garage in Old Town in Wichita is scheduled to learn his fate Tuesday.
Zachary Ramirez, 21, will appear at a sentencing hearing in Judge Jeffry Goering’s courtroom, according to the Sedgwick County District Attorney’s office.
In April of 2024, a jury found him guilty on two counts of first-degree murder, two alternative counts of second-degree murder, criminal discharge of a weapon, aggravated battery and two counts of battery in the deaths of 20-year-old Josephina Lerma-Dominguez and 21-year-old Bryan Lara-Hernandez both of Wichita, according to the district attorney’s office.
