WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) – Shifting winds and a big change in the weather is coming to Kansas after days of very high fire danger. Expect the strong winds to turn westerly overnight and early Thursday, then throughout the day, it will be strong northwest wind.
Temperatures will be dropping quickly on Thursday, with most areas reaching their high for the day in the morning, then falling into the afternoon. Expect mainly 40s and 50s by mid-morning, then dropping to the 30s later in the day.
