WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) – A suspect who was 17 at the time of a shooting outside Towne East will be tried as an adult.
A Sedgwick County District Court judge granted the state’s motion for adult prosecution. The suspect in the August 2025 shooting faces two counts each of attempted first-degree murder and aggravated battery, along with one count of criminal use of weapons.
