WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — A Belle Plaine High School student got the surprise of her life on Tuesday: a $50,000 scholarship to attend Wichita State University.
Representatives of WSU’s Barton School of Business showed up at the school to give the news to senior Alyssa Pace. Her reaction was caught on camera.
“I was completely surprised,” Pace said in a news release. “This scholarship means everything. I know it sounds cliché, but this is truly life changing for myself and my family.”
