‘One size does not fit all’: Kansas school board says cell phone ban bill is unconstitutional

WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) – Kansas lawmakers advanced a bill that would ban the use of cell phones in schools, but now, the state board of education says the bill is unconstitutional.

After hours of debate, the bill passed out of the Kansas House of Representatives last week. Local representatives with the state board of education believe it to be government overreach, including Betty Arnold.
