Early A.M. flurries, dry and chilly weekend

WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) – Light snow fell across Kansas overnight with some light accumulation across north Kansas. Amounts between a light dusting and 2″ have been reported with Chapman, KS reporting 1.5″ through 6am.

Light snow and flurries will exit Kansas shortly after daybreak, leaving us with a dry, sunny and chilly weekend. Highs will remain in the 40s for both Saturday and Sunday with light north winds.

One more cool day is expected Monday with highs in the 40s again, but a rapid warm up is expected on Tuesday that will last for the rest of next week as highs return to the 60s…
