Card skimmers found at pumps at Kansas truck stop

WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — Credit card skimmers have been found again on Kansas gas pumps.

This time, the skimmers were discovered on diesel fuel pumps in Salina. Police Capt. Jim Feldman confirmed that it happened at the Flying J truck stop on North Ohio Street at Interstate 70.

A Salina business contacted the truck stop after it noticed that a card use to buy diesel had been compromised last week.

Truck stop employees discovered two skimmers on diesel pumps and contacted police. The skimmers were attached right above the keypad and included a hole with a tiny camera that police think may have been used to record as people typed their PINs. It also included a magnetic strip reader.
