WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) – The Newton City Commission took final action on firework sales and days that those may be set off at Tuesday’s meeting.
The city says sales will be permitted from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. from June 27 to July 4, and that fireworks may be set off from noon to midnight from July 1 to July 4.
Vendors may purchase permits for $500 per day, per location during the fireworks sales period.
