WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) – Some very mild weather can be expected through Saturday, but another push of winter weather is going to surge south by Saturday night and the second half of the weekend is colder. There is a threat of some icy areas Sunday morning along and north of I-70, but significant ice buildup is unlikely.
Expect a warm Friday with sunshine and highs in the 70s. The wind will be out of the southwest and a tad gusty from time to time. Saturday remains mild with highs in the 60s and 70s, but the strong front will be coming through by late afternoon.
Sunday looks cloudy and colder with some drizzle over the region, but north central and northeast Kansas should be on guard for some icy patches…
