Rose Hill resident loses nearly $3,000 in warrant scam

WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — A Rose Hill resident is out nearly $3,000 after they were taken in by a warrant scam.

The Butler County Sheriff’s Office was contacted by the victim, who reported receiving a call from someone claiming to bea Sgt. Parker.

The scammer told the victim that there was an outstanding warrant for their arrest and they needed to pay immediately or face arrest.
