A 19-year-old man is dead after police say he shot his ex-girlfriend and repeatedly rammed his vehicle into hers during a high-speed chase in Wichita, Kansas.
According to KAKE, the incident unfolded late Sunday evening when the man allegedly began chasing his 24-year-old ex-girlfriend down a local roadway. Authorities say the woman was not alone. An 18-year-old passenger was also inside her vehicle.
Police reported that during the pursuit, the man rammed his vehicle into hers multiple times. He then allegedly fired three shots. One of those shots struck the woman.
Crash Into Power Pole Ends Pursuit
Officers said the dangerous chase came to an end when the suspect’s vehicle crashed into a power pole. The impact killed him. Emergency responders transported the injured woman to a local hospital. Police say she remains in critical but stable condition and is expected to survive…
