A pedestrian was killed and a driver was critically injured in a collision in south Wichita on Wednesday night, police said.
The crash happened while 55-year-old Tyrone Carter of Newton was walking across the street in the 1200 block of South Topeka just before 10 p.m., a press release from the Wichita Police Department said.
