WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) – A gathering to remember a popular local musician who died Sunday is planned for this weekend. Plans call for community members to gather at 5 p.m. Saturday, March 14 at the Riverside Pavilion, 1029 Bitting Street, in Wichita, for “The vigil for Jenny Wood.”
“Come celebrate Jenny’s legacy. This is not a funeral or memorial service, but rather a gathering for the community to make music and find comfort,” organizers said.
Organizers encourage those who attend to bring their own chairs, instruments, refreshments, candles, flowers, etc…..
