WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — One super fan of Wichita State men’s basketball cheered his team on from afar Tuesday as the Shockers took on Wyoming in the NIT.
Levi, a 6-year-old who lives in Alabama, is a viral sensation among the Shocker faithful, rallying the troops for game day with one iconic photo. It shows him as a baby in WSU gear with a gaping smile on his face.
In Levi’s world, the Shockers are life. He’s a die-hard fan of the team, in part thanks to his dad, Nathan, a WSU alum who moved to Alabama eight years ago.
He graduated in 2006 but kept going to games, and then he said the 2013 season “had me hooked.”
