Autopsy report shows man who drowned in accident at Lake Afton had cocaine, other drugs in system

WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) – A autopsy report from the Sedgwick County Forensic Science center showed that Ian Shelton, who drowned in Lake Afton late last year, had cocaine and other drugs in his system when he died.

The report offers a possible explanation of why Shelton drowned. His death was ruled accidental.

In January, the science center determined that the 31-year-old drowned, according to a sheriff’s office release. The coroner ruled his death an accident, noting the autopsy did not identify any injuries…
