Toxicology report released for Ian Shelton

WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — The toxicology report has been released for Ian Shelton, the Wichita man who went missing in December and was found in Lake Afton over a month later.

According to the Sedgwick County Regional Forensic Science Center, his death was ruled an accidental drowning.

The coroner also found evidence of the use of alcohol and drugs, including dimethyltryptamine (DMT), a psychedelic known to produce hallucinations.

The toxicology report said the following substances were inside his system:

  • Ethanol
  • Cocaine
  • Cocaethylene
  • Benzoylecgonine
  • Oxycodone
  • Dimethyltryptamine
