WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) – Wichita firefighters spent the early morning hours battling a large fire at the old Joyland amusement park in south Wichita.
The fire was reported just before 1 a.m. in the 2800 block of South Hillside. When crews arrived, they found what remained of Joyland’s roller coaster burning, along with nearby outbuildings and surrounding brush.
