Eight men, including a Sedgwick County detention deputy, were arrested over the weekend as part of a multi-agency operation targeting human trafficking and sexual exploitation in Park City.
The same operation identified six women — several of whom may be victims of human trafficking — who are being provided appropriate assistance and resources, according to a Park City Police Department press release.
The two-day operation began Friday, April 3, at a hotel along I-135 just north of Park City. It was conducted there not in response to specific concerns or known issues at the hotel, but instead was “proactive in nature,” the press release said…
