Storm Track 3 Forecast: Strong storms Saturday, active pattern continues

Strong winds and large hail will be the primary concerns for the majority of the region. There is a slim chance of a tornado or two, especially for central Kansas.

Scattered showers will begin to cluster together overnight, producing areas of heavy rainfall for areas south of I-70. Rumbles will linger into the start of Sunday before tracking east.

Highs tomorrow will be in the 70s and 80s.

Storm activity on Sunday evening will be very conditional, with very isolated chances of storms forming.

But where storms do manage to come together, we are looking at a Slight Risk for severe weather. All forms of severe weather will be possible, but again that is if storms manage to develop at all.

Fire Weather Watches are in place for areas in western Kansas on Sunday and Monday.

Areas east of the turnpike could see scattered showers on Monday with a Marginal Risk in place.

The unsettled pattern continues for the rest of the week with storm chances lingering through next weekend.
