WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — School districts in the Wichita area are monitoring weather conditions Friday as severe storms threaten.
El Dorado USD 490 said storms are predicted to arrive around dismissal time and because of that, school will let out two hours early. El Dorado High School and El Dorado Middle School will dismiss at 1:05 p.m., and the elementary schools will follow at 1:15 p.m. The district said all afternoon and evening activities are canceled.
Augusta USD 402 is also dismissing two hours early. The high school and middle school will let out at 1 p.m., and elementary students will get out at 1:15 p.m. The bus routes will run at the early dismissal time. The after-school program and all other afternoon activities are canceled…
