WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) – Gusty winds will prevail across Kansas ahead of a chance for storms that will return on Thursday. Like so many other setups, this one will favor central and eastern Kansas with the west getting none at all.
Expect south winds to gust up to 40 mph through Wednesday and temperatures will remain quite mild. Highs on Tuesday and Wednesday will mainly be a mix of 70s and 80s.
The thunderstorms on Thursday will develop along a cold front that moves in during the evening. Areas east of a Dodge City to Russell line will have the storm chance, and a few could have 60 mph winds and some quarter size hail…
