WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — A Wichita father pleaded no contest Thursday to second-degree murder in the death of his baby daughter.
Zachariah Howard, 19, was originally charged with first-degree murder and child abuse.
On the morning of Sept. 18, Howard reported that he found his daughter, 3-week-old Mulani Howard, unresponsive. She was taken to a hospital, where she died.
