WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — U.S. Highway 83 is closed in southwest Kansas on Friday evening.
The Kansas Department of Transportation reported that a semitruck overturned on the highway north of Liberal. The trailer is blocking both lanes of the highway.
Two interstate ramps in Wichita closing next week
Northbound traffic is being detoured to U.S. Highway 160, and southbound traffic is being routed to the Santanta cutoff. KDOT recommends that drivers avoid the area.
