The life and legacy of two-term Wilmington Mayor Mike Purzycki will be celebrated Wednesday afternoon
A four-hour public visitation begins at 4 p.m. at the Chase Center on the Riverfront – a facility Purzycki helped bring to reality during his time as Executive Director of the Riverfront Development Corporation. The public is invited.
Thursday, a Mass of Christian Burial will take place at Saint Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church, beginning at noon. The service will be Livestreamed on the church’s YouTube Channel.
Purzycki battled cancer after he left office, and died last week at age 80…
