The Courtyard by Marriott Philadelphia Coatesville/Exton is in the middle of a more than $2.5 million transformation, as its ownership group bets on modernizing the property to better serve families, sports teams, and wedding guests, writes Emma Dooling for the Philadelphia Business Journal.
Work kicked off May 18, with a portion of the hotel’s 125 guest rooms temporarily closed during construction. The project is expected to wrap by August and will touch nearly every corner of the property, from guest rooms and common areas to the fitness center and on-site restaurant, The Bistro.
One of the more notable changes: Owner Recap PA Holdings is doubling the number of two-queen-bedrooms, growing the count from 25 to 50.
