Newark lawmakers are throwing their weight behind expanding Delaware’s electronic driving violation system, but are more skeptical about a bill helping Delaware’s unhoused.
In a public meeting with their city lobbyist Monday, a majority of city council members supported House Bill 442, which would make the state’s electronic speed camera system permanent, and also expand its reach to other unspecified traffic violations.
