Historic 130th Annual Ball Honors Scholarship, Mentorship, and a Legacy of Brotherhood, Service, and Excellence

The Monday Club recently celebrated a historic milestone with its 130th Annual Ball, commemorating 150 years of service, leadership, and community impact during a black-tie gala at the Chase Center on the Riverfront in Wilmington.

The celebration welcomed hundreds of guests, including elected officials, business leaders, educators, community partners, and supporters for an evening recognizing one of Delaware’s oldest African American civic organizations and its enduring commitment to scholarship, mentorship, civic engagement, and community service.

Founded in 1876, The Monday Club has spent 150 years investing in Delaware through scholarships, youth mentoring, volunteer service, and programs that support families throughout the year. The organization’s guiding principles of Brotherhood, Service, and Excellence continue to shape its mission while inspiring future generations of community leaders…
