HelloFresh will axe 374 workers at its Swedesboro distribution center by November. This adds to over 11,500 job cuts announced across New Jersey in 2026. The meal kit company filed a WARN notice with the state, confirming plans to shutter the South Jersey facility by Nov. 17.
“Operational efficiency is central to everything we do at HelloFresh, and we regularly evaluate our fulfillment setup to ensure we operate as effectively as possible,” a spokesperson said in a statement, according to NewsBreak.com. “Following a review of our operational footprint, we have made the difficult decision to close our Swedesboro, New Jersey distribution center, and will seamlessly integrate its operations into our broader fulfillment network.”
The company will offer severance assistance, extended healthcare support, career transition resources, and internal transfer opportunities to affected employees. Work from the 170,000-square-foot facility will shift to other fulfillment centers in the network…
