Holding signs reading “Honk for 72,” kids from Newark Christian Childcare gathered along Library Avenue/South Chapel Street on Wednesday to celebrate the reopening of the road after two months of bridge construction.
The kids waved to drivers, urging them to honk, and they cheered wildly when a driver obliged.
