A Wilmington man is charged with several drug offenses after his arrest this past week by New Castle County Police.
They suspected 31-year-old Marquise Byrd of distributing drugs throughout the county, and when officers confronted him Thursday near 6th Street and Washington Avenue in Wilmington, Byrd ran away, discarding a narcotic-filled plastic bag as he went, police said.
The cops caught up with Byrd and found the bag, which they say contained what they think was crack cocaine, meth and a heroin/fentanyl mixture, along with drug paraphernalia…
