AmeriHealth Caritas, the Delaware County-based Medicaid insurer, has agreed to invest $15 million in Deon Health, a Michigan startup working to improve care for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, reports Harold Brubaker for The Philadelphia Inquirer.
Founded in 2024, Deon Health partners with states, insurers, and local service providers to coordinate care for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, often referred to as I/DD.
