ELKTON — A man accused of kidnapping an Elkton acquaintance for more than six hours — after posing as an investor in the victim’s start-up business — is facing up to 30 years in prison after a jury found him guilty of three charges, according to Cecil County Circuit Court records.
Jurors deliberated nearly four hours on Thursday at the conclusion of a two-day-long trial before finding the defendant — Cameron Jaylin Gill, 25, of Owings Mills — guilty of kidnapping, false imprisonment and conspiracy to commit false imprisonment, court records show.
