Memphis officers went to the Economy Inn at 3896 Lamar Avenue around 9 a.m. on Sept. 15 looking for one man.
They were serving an aggravated robbery warrant on Javunte Johnson, 33. The officers arrested Johnson behind the building, then spotted about 12 people unloading boxes from a semi-trailer parked in the back lot, the Memphis Police Department said.
When they spotted the police, the group scrambled but were caught. Memphis police charged all 12 people — two individuals, Quantrivious Shavers, 25, and Jessie Moore, 37, were each charged as a convicted felon in possession of a handgun, and officers recovered three handguns at the scene along with fentanyl and cocaine…
