A Pennsylvania man will spend seven years in New Jersey state prison after pleading guilty to attempting to sexually assault someone he believed was a child in an undercover operation, according to the New Jersey Attorney General’s Office.
Hank W. West, 45, of Chester, Pennsylvania, was sentenced Friday in Burlington County Superior Court after previously pleading guilty to one count of second-degree attempted aggravated sexual assault. Judge Aimee R. Belgard imposed the sentence, which requires West to serve at least 85 percent before becoming eligible for parole.
West must also register as a sex offender under Megan’s Law and will be subject to lifetime parole supervision…
