Penn Medicine, Independence Blue Cross and Regent Surgical are partnering to develop at least 18 outpatient surgery centers in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware. PhillyVoice published the announcement, which came from the IBX Newsroom.
The partnership is intended to widen access to lower-cost, high-quality surgical care across Greater Philadelphia, according to the announcement. It brings together a Philadelphia health system, a regional insurer and a surgery center operator.
