A portion of a popular Newark hiking and running trail will be off-limits at times for the near future.
The PennDel Trail, also known as the extension of Creek Road off of North College Avenue, will be closed between Hopkins Road and Chambers Rock Road between 6 a.m.-4 p.m. on Mondays-Fridays as work continues to build a new Discovery Center at the site of the former nature center.
