UPDATE: Smyrna Police have charged a 25-year-old Wilmington man in connection with the shooting that occurred in the parking lot of the End Zone Bar and Grill in mid-October.
During their investigation, detectives identified the Wilmington male suspect and obtained warrants for his arrest, alongside two additional search warrants for residences in Wilmington and Newark.
With assistance from the New Castle County Police Department SWAT, detectives took the suspect into custody without incident on Oct. 20, after executing the search warrant in Newark. At the same time, the Wilmington Police Department SWAT executed a separate search warrant at the Wilmington residence.
